PURPOSE:To obtain a proper controlling process at the time of low temperature in the engine in such a way that a delay angle compensating value is sought for by load in the engine and water temperature for cooling in the engine in order to perform ignition progressive angle by the determined related formula. CONSTITUTION:A basic progressive value thetab is sought for on the basis of load in the engine and revolving speed in the engine in the step 31.
