Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a thermal efficiency and to save an energy consumption by a method wherein a steam is sprayed to the flame of the gas burner to produce a new gas, by which the power of the flame is increased.
CONSTITUTION: A small-sized steam generating tank 3 containing fresh water is provided in an outer casing 2 of the bath boiler adjacent to the side of two of eight main burners 4 at the both ends. The tanks 3 are interconnected by a pipe 9, which is provided with many steam blowing holes 5 opened toward the main burners 4. Immediately after the ignition of the burners 4, the tank 3 is heated by the flame of its adjacent burner 4 to raise its temperature, and the steam begins jetting out of the blowing holes 5. This steam helps to increase the power of the burners 4 so that the temperature rising speed is promoted with a decrease of time required for heating the water by 20W30%. If the tank 3 contains hot water instead of cold water, the energy saving effect is further improved.
