Abstract

PURPOSE:To make preparations for color change, material change, etc. on a stand- by injection unit and to improve working efficiency by a method wherein a table on which a plurality of injection units are mounted is rotated and any one of the injection units is connected selectively to a set of injection molds. CONSTITUTION:The nozzle 22 of one of the injection units is let to agree with and locked in the guide hole 23 of a cradle 21. Injection molds 3 under the injection unit 1 are clamped by a die clamping cylinder 17. The injection unit 1 falls down and resin is injected from the nozzle 22 into the cavity of the injection molds 3. Then, when the injection unit 1 rises up and the nozzle 22 leaves the cavity, an upper and a lower rotating disk 6, 7 rotate and next injection molds 3 come under the injection unit 1 and sequential molding is performed. When the molds 3 with which molding has ended come above a wheel-storing cavity 19, the wheel part 16 is dropped by a die-opening cylinder 18, a movable die plate 12 moves, the dies are opened and the molded product is taken out. On the other hand, an idle injection unit 1, materials are changed in order to take another color, another quality, another mixture, etc.
