In a rotary table type injection moulding machine in which moulds (10) (Figs. 1, 2, not shown)arebroughtinturn into and out of injection, cooling and unloading stations, each mould is provided with internal locking means operated by actuating elements fixed to the frame of the machine. The mould parts 31, 32 (Fig. 3) are locked together by tie-rods 33 having notches 36 engaged by arms 38, (39) on cam-shafts (34, 35), Figs. 4, 5 (not shown). The shafts (34, 35) are coupled by plates (41, 42) and plungers 43 to a ring 44 (Fig. 9) which is engaged at the unloading station by dogs 91, 92 operated by cylinders 95, 96. Core members 73 (Figs. 6, 9) are advanced and retracted by means of a rotatable bush 67 having camtracks (71, 72), Fig. 7 (not shown), engaged by rollers 74 carried by the core member 73.
