Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the heat insulating property, water proofness, and productivity of a composite plate as well as reduce the cost of manufacture of the composite plate which is usefel for forming inner and outer walls by concurrently performing the molding of a sealing elastic projection and the formation of a heat insulating layer in the same line. CONSTITUTION:A rigid body 1, consisting of a metal plate, a synthetic resin plate, etc., and having a female connector 10 and a male connector 4 on its right and left side edges and a trough-shaped section, is molded, and a thermosetting, expandible synthetic resin liquid D is supplied to the back side 1a of the rigid body 1. On the other hand, a sheet 11, consisting of a Kraft paper, asbestos paper, etc., and having a projection 12 on its end, is molded into a given shape, and a raw material F capable of forming an elastomer 13, e.g., of rubber latex, polyurethane form, etc., is adhered to the projection 12. And, the rigid body 1 and the sheet 11 are set in mutually facing manner, and the liquid D and the raw material F are expanded in molds in such a way as to integrally combine the body 1 and the sheet 11 and also to form the elastomer 13. Thus, an objective composite plate can be obtained.
