Abstract

PURPOSE:To generate a sound with a frequency changing repetitively with a displaced sound generation period to provide an imitation sound like a bird and an insect, by giving a reference signal for determining a displaced sound generation period to a frequency dividing ratio selecting counter and driving a speaker according to the output of a program frequency divider. CONSTITUTION:Provided are a generator 10 for a sound generation reference signal with a constant frequency, a program frequency divider 12 that frequency-divides and outputs a sound generation signal with a different frequency dividing ratio according to a prescribed program and a frequency dividing ratio selecting counter 14 that supplies the output of a counter performing repetitive counting with a sound generation period to the divider 12 as a frequency dividing ratio selecting signal and has a sound generation period that displaces in itself with a prescribed repetitive period. Further, a reference signal for determining a displaced sound generation period is supplied to the counter 14 by a reference signal generator 20 for a sound generation period comprising a frequency divider, and according to the output of the divider 12 a speaker 26 is driven, thus allowing a sound generation with a frequency changing repetitively with a displaced sound generation period. This circuit is made to actuate with an alarm signal generated by turning-on of an alarm contact point 30 of a clock 28 through a controlling circuit 32, permitting generation of an imitation sound such as a bird and a insect.
