Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to simply accomplish the adjustment with the use of a single oscillator by producing sound clock signals in response to the suitable frequency dividing output of the oscillator and by generating striking frequency pulse signals in response to the frequency dividing output of a lower frequency than that of the clock signals. CONSTITUTION:The output of an oscillator 1 is fed to a first frequency dividing circuit 2 so that striking frequency pulse signals may be generated in response to the frequency dividing output of the final stage. The output of said oscillator 1 is also fed to a frequency dividing circuit 3 so that sound clock signals may be generated in response to the suitable frequency dividing output. The striking frequency pluses modulates the sound clock signals from the circuit 3 thereby to generate striking signals, which are fed to an amplifier 11 to generate hour striking sounds from a speaker 12. As a result, merely by adjusting only one oscillator, the oscillatory frequency can be stabilized so that the adjusting can be simplified while enhancing the performance.
