Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled resin, obtained by grafting a monomer capable of constituting a resin component onto a mixed rubbery polymer prepared by mixing a butadiene rubbery polymer with a high 1,2-bond content with a butadiene rubbery polymer with a low 1,2-bond content, and having improved surface gloss, weather resistance and impact resistance at a low temperature.
CONSTITUTION: An aromatic alkenyl monomer, e.g. styrene, and if necessary a copolymerizable monomer, e.g. acrylonitrile, are grafted onto 2W30wt%, based on the total resin composition, mixed rubbery polymer prepared by mixing (A) 60W 95wt% butadiene polymer containing at least 60wt%, preferably 80wt% or more, 1, 2-bonds with (B) 5W40wt% butadiene copolymer containing 30wt% or less, preferably 15wt% or less, 1,2-bonds, to give a resin composition. An additive, e.g. a well-known antioxidant, or a polymer, e.g. styrene-butadiene copolymer, is suitably blended with the resultant resin composition.
