PURPOSE: A composition having improved heat deformation resistance and impact resistance, comprising a copolymer of styrene/maleic anhydride, styrene/acrylonitrile/butadiene type polymer, styrene/α-methylstyrene/acrylonitrile/butadiene type polymer.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 10W90pts.wt. copolymer of 5W30wt% maleic anhydride and 95W70wt% styrene is blended with (B) 0W90pts.wt. partial graft copolymer of 95W50wt% monomer mixture of 95W60wt% styrene and 5W40wt% acrylonitrile and 5W50pts.wt. polybutadiene or butadiene type copolymer comprising ≥50wt% butadiene, and (C) 10W90pts.wt. partial graft copolymer of 95W50wt% mixture of 60W30wt% styrene, 60W30wt% α-methylstyrene, and 10W40wt% acrylonitrile and 5W50wt% polybutadiene or a butadiene type copolymer comprising ≥50wt% butadiene.
