Abstract
PURPOSE:To take a ring trip stably by detecting the answer of an extension subscriber as variations in peak voltage. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber SUB puts the handset off the hook, a voltage developed across a resistance R1 exceeds the threshold level of a Zener diode ZD1. When a photocoupler PC turns on and the time constant circuit of a resistance R3 and a capacitor C drops below a constant value, a Zener diode ZD2 turns off a transistor TR1. Consequently, a TR2 turns on to energize a relay FA. Through the operation of the relay FA, 20Hz transmission is stopped by contacts fa<1> and fa<2>, the voltage across resistance R1 is ceased, the voltage output of the time constant of a resistance R4 and the capacitor C is higher than the constant value, so that the ZD2 turns on the TR1 and off the TR2. Consequently, the setting of an AC nonoperating point as is the case with a DC-superposing ring tripping circuit is unnecessary, and a ring trip is taken securely.
