Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurence of a fire accident or the like by a method wherein when an air induction blower is stopped due to a power failure in the captioned apparatus using wood as a fuel, an air supply duct and a hot wind supply duct are closed automatically so that the communication between the house and the heating apparatus is interrupted.
CONSTITUTION: In case where a motor 37 of the air induction blower 34 is stopped due to a power failure, dampers 39 and 40 return to positions indicated by the solid lines, respectively, under their own weight so that the interior 31 of the room and a hot wind heater 30 are separated from each other completely and at the same time, an air supply port and an exhaust port of the heater 30 communicate with the atmosphere through communication ports 37 and 38 of ducts 32 and 33, respectively. Accordingly, the heat generating from the heater 30 radiates due to the natural ventilation of air flowing through the communication port 37, the air supply port 32, an intermediate chamber 16, the exhaust port 33 and the communication port 38 so that there is no fear of the heater being damaged due to overheating or of causing fire accident.
