Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure accurately only a flow speed regardless of the concentration of an included magnetic substance and composition thereof by correcting and outputting a flow signal according to a measured value of inductance of an excitation coil. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted by an insulated conduit tube 1, an excitation coil 3 that generates a magnetic field crossing, at right angles, the flow direction of a fluid, electrodes 5a, 5b prepared in opposition to the insulated conduit tube 1 in the direction crossing, at right angles, both the flow direction of a fluid and the direction of a magnetic field, an amplifier 7 that amplifies signals from said electrodes 5a, 5b and an inductance measuring device 8 that measures inductance of the excitation coil 3. Further both outputs from the amplifier 7 and the inductance measuring device 8 are operated by a microporocesser 11, and the output from the amplifier 7 is divided by a value proportional to the inductance of the excitation coil 3, and thus by outputting the signal after dividing, a flow signal is corrected.
