Abstract
PURPOSE: To form atomized liq. constituting of uniform fine particles with slightly pressurized air, by using an atomizing nozzle consisting of a main nozzle body and a core body provided with an orifice, and by atomizing liq. with compressed air fed from two different directions.
CONSTITUTION: A core body 7 is inserted into a main nozzle body 1, and a spacer 15 is attached to between an inner wall of the body 1 and the core body 7 at the tip thereof. Compressed air is introduced through a main hole path 2 provided at the body base, and atomizing liq. is injected from a liq. injection hole 4 provided at a side wall of the body 1. The liq. flows through the outer circumferential gap of the core body 7, and successively flows within the core 7 through plural pierced holes 12 provided at the tip of the core 7 and then into an orifice 10. Compressed air enters a pierced hole 9 of the core 7 from the path 2 and is ejected through the orifice 10. At the same time, the air which is branched from the path 2 and enters a bypass 3 blows fown through pierced holes 19 of the spacer 15 and a path 22, and atomizes the liq. into uniform fine particles by shearing action through permitting the ejection of the air nearly from the perpendicular direction so as to cross the atomizing liq. The liquid is ejected through a nozzle and atomized.
