CONSTITUTION:Dimming spectacles are constituted of a lens 1 containing a substance having an electrochromic effect, a switch for adjusting the density of the lens, a storing place 4 of a small-sized battery, etc. Its driving mechanism is constituted so that density of a color is varied when a current flows to an electrochromic substance 7 from a transparent electric film 8. In addition to a variation of density, an intermediate color is made by controlling the quantity of a current with a switch 43. In this way, then this invention is executed, it is possible to make dimming spectacles which are high in a dimming speed, and large in a color tone variation.
