Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an automatic speed change control system of simple construction free of mechanically moving parts by using the negative pressure response switch in the engine suction system as throttle opening response signal generating means.
CONSTITUTION: A diaphragm 6 is provided to divide the casing 1 into a negative pressure chamber 2 and atmospheric pressure chamber 3, and a moving core 11 is equipped with a magnet 9 coaxially and fixed to the casing 12 so that it will be movable axially owing to the difference between the negative pressure chamber and atmospheric pressure chamber, and a reed switch 8 is turned on and off in accordance with the move of the magnet 9. The diaphragm 6 is given back pressure by a spring through the moving core 11 to balance with the atmospheric pressure and a spring adjusting screw 10 adjusts the switching point. The reed switch 8 sends the negative pressure sensing signal from terminals 9a, 9b to the control circuit as output torque response signal of the engine.
