Abstract

PURPOSE: To have a planetary gearing speed reduction device with long life and compact design by using a planet gear with a profile of circular arc consisting of a pin and a roller and thereby permitting the sun, planet and internal gears to mesh through rolling contact.
CONSTITUTION: A planet gear P is placed between the sun gear 1 and internal gear 4, where radius (e) of the pitch circle 7 of pin series 3 of the planet gear P shall be set smaller than the radius (b) of normal pitch circle 6. A planetary gearing roller 2 is supported by each pin series 3 of the planet gear P.
