CONSTITUTION:As long as the revolution speed of a rotor is low, a switching transistor Q3 is ON due to a power source Ea, so a base current flows through a field current control transistor Q1. As the revolution speed of rotor increases, an electromotive voltage generated in a shunt generator increases smoothly. When the voltage across an output voltage dividing resistor Rg exceeds the voltage of the supply source Ea, the switching transistor Q3 goes to OFF, but a field current control transistor Q1 is kept at ON due to the generated electromotive voltage. Afterfwards, the field current control transistor Q1 is controlled by a constant-voltage control circuit 1.
