Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a relative positon of a belt invariable even if a running speed of the belt varies by setting both a detecting mark for deviation and a detecting mark for position to the belt. CONSTITUTION:To a side edge of a belt 5, a detecting sensor 26 for the deviating direction and a detecting sensor 27 for belt position are set. The sensor 26 is connected to an output circuit 31 for detecting the deviating directon, and the circuit 31 is connected to one side of input terminals of a controller 28. On the other hand, the sensor 27 is connected to another side of input terminals of the controller 28 through the circuit 31. The controller 28 detects a difference between the detected signals by the sensor 26 and by the sensor 27, and signals contolling an amount of rotation and a sense of rotation of a reversible motor 29 are output from the controller 28. In rotating the motor 29, a rotating angle of a correcting roll 30 is controlled and the roll 30 rotates in the sense following the arrow (b) or (c). Respective definite examples of a detecting mark 32 for deviation and a detecting mark 33 for position, which are to be set to the belt respectively, are showed in the figure.
