Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate waste of paint and to improve workability, by independently injecting a main agent and a curing agent or a curing promotor into a high speed air stream to pulverize and mix the two agents, colliding and dispersing the resulting mixture to make a superpulverized mixture, and spraying the mixture onto an article.
CONSTITUTION: Pumps 21, 24, 27 are driven to circulate a main agent in the first and second closed loops 20, 23 comprising main agent reservoirs 22, 25 and pumps 21, 24. A curing agent is circulated in the third closed loop 30 comprising a curing agent reservoir 28, the pump 27 and a three-way valve 26. In addition, high pressure air is fed into a conduit 2, while the main agent and the curing agent are fed through feed pipes 8 and 9, respectively. The main agen and the curing agent are pulverized and mixed together by the high pressure air. The pulverized mixture is further collided against a disc 14 through the nozzle 10 of a cylindrical pipe 3, to make a superpulverized mixture. The resulting mixture is sprayed onto a workpiece 29 to be coated.
