Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable bidirectional communication by transmitting power to a slave on one transmission line, through the power refresh for the power requird for the slave device from a master device. CONSTITUTION:A switch ES of a master device 1 is periodically closed and a capacitor C of a slave device 2 is charged via a transmission line 3. The power supply voltage for each device is obtained for the slave device 2 from a switching regulator 54. Communication is made with and open switch ES. A data 11 from the master device 2 is converted into a serial signal with an input controller 14 and transmitted to the slave device 2 and detected at a comparator OC2. Data 51 from the slave device 2 is transmitted to a load resistor RL of the master device 1 via a controller 55, an operational amplifier OP4 and a constant current circuit 58 and detected at a comparator OC1. An analog signal 52 from the slave device 1 is similarly transmitted to the load resistor RL of the master device and outputted to a terminal 13 via a switch ASW.
