Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable DC output voltage by cutting off the base current of a transistor (TR) connected to the primary winding of a transformer, and connecting a differentiating circuit between the base of the TR and that of a phototransistor for positive feedback. CONSTITUTION:An LED77 couples optically with a phototransistor TR78 with a base terminal to constitute a photocoupler. Then, a voltage detecting circuit composed of a TR71, a Zener diode 72, and resistances 73-76, and said photocoupler constitute a control circuit. The collector and emitter of the TR78 are connected to the base and emitter of a TR2 respectively. Further, a differentiating circuit 9 for positive feedback is connected between the base of the TR78 and that of the TR2 by a capacitor 91 and a resistance 92. Thus, the simple circuit efficiently obtain a DC output voltage stable to the variation of an input voltage and/or a load.
