PURPOSE:To obtain a developer capable of being transferred even onto regular paper, having superior fixability and giving lusterless superior image quality by adding a specified amount or above of a specified polyamide resin to a finely powdered magnetic body and a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A toner is manufactured by adding >=10wt% polyamide resin represented by the formula (where each of R and R' is hydrocarbon) to a component consisting of a finely powdered magnetic body and a thermoplastic resin. By the addition of the polyamide resin the resulting pressure-fixing toner has superior transferrability even onto regular paper and superior fixability.
