CONSTITUTION:A toner contg. a polymer acted with Mg in an ethylene-methacrylic acid polymer (usually called ''Mg-contg. ionomer'') at >=30wt% in a binder is prepd. Soft resins such as polyethylene, polyester, low mol.wt. polystyrene and the like are contained at 20-70wt% in the other resins in the binder. To obtain a magnetic toner, 0.1-1mu fine particles of ferromagnetic powder is contained. Thereby, the toner which is free from degradation in pressure fixability and developing durability for a long time, provides sharp, high-density images and does not cause offsetting to developing sleeves, etc. is obtained.
