Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation dew condensation by a method wherein a partition wall is provided at the boundary of a heat insulating material housed within the space between a vessel and a heat collecting plate and the space between the heat collecting plate and a glass cover so that the latter space is separated from the former space in which the heat insulating material is housed.
CONSTITUTION: The heat collecting plate 2 is housed within the vessel 1 through an approximately L-shaped peripheral section 4 and the space 6 between the vessel and the heat collecting plate is separated from the space housing the heat insulating material 14 by making the peripheral section 4 serving the partition wall. Further, the peripheral section 4 is sandwiched between a flange 1a of the upper surface of the vessel 1 and the glass cover 5 so that air layers 12 and 13 are sealed. With the above structure, when the temperature of the heat collecting plate 2 rises due to solar heat, the temperature of the heat insulating material 14 also rises high and the water contained in the heat insulating material 14 evaporates to become high temperature and high humidity steam. However, as the steam is shielded by the peripheral section 4, it does not enter the air layers 12 and 13 and therefore, the humity of the steam does not get higher than the atmospheric humidity and the temperature of the vessel 1 is kept higher than the atmospheric temperature. As a result, the lowering of the heat collecting effect resulting from dew condensation is prevented.
