Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of resolution, by converting a one-dimensional picture to a two-dimensional picture once, and after that, projecting it to a two- dimensional image sensor. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber flux 3 is constituted of a lot of optical fibers which have been arrayed linearly on one end and in the form of a plane surface on the other end, respectively. A plane surface end part 5 of the fiber flux 3 is placed so as to be opposed to a two-dimensional image sensor 7. Also, an optical lens is placed between the plane surface end part 5 and the sensor 7. In this way, a one-dimensional picture which has been caught by a linear end part 4 of the optical fiber flux is converted once to a two-dimensional picture in the plane surface end part 5, and after that, it is projected to the two-dimensional image sensor, and is photoelectrically converted. Therefore, comparing with the case when a one-dimensional image sensor has been used, deterioration of resolution is reduced.
