Abstract
PURPOSE:To surely prevent the leakage of gases in spite of malfunction of electromechanical valve mechanism by providing a two way selector valve on the way of the gas passage between a gas producer and a gushing head, and opening and closing the same cooperatively with the movement of the gushing head. CONSTITUTION:Molding sand is blown from a blow head 12 into a cavity 38, and when this is completed, the head 12 retreats. Thereupon, a gushing head 27 is lowered by an elevating cylinder 23, and a handle 36 is turned clockwise by the descending of an interlocking arm 37, whereby supply hoses 29 and 32 are communicated. Here, the head 12 advances and while the head 27 is being slid with respect to a base 26, it is pressed to molds 3, 4. Following to this, the electromechanical valve mechanism in a gas producer 31 is operated and a hardening gas is blown through the head 37 into the cavity 38, thereby hardening the molding sand in the cavity 38.
