Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively and reliably recover fine pellets without clogging, by thickening the fine pellets collided against a heat transmission plate and a washing liquid by means of a cyclone, performing water separation with a strainer, and circulating the pellets.
CONSTITUTION: Fine pellets 5, with a washing water, are supplied from a strainer 13 through a pipe 27 and are collided against a heat transmission plate 1 for washing. The mixed liquid after washing is then introduced into a filter 8 in a cyclone 6, and by the rotation of the cyclone 6, contaminants and water which has a larger specific gravity are separated. The condensed pellet-mixed liquid 24 is returned into an acumulating chamber 16 of the strainer 13 and accumulated therein. During the acumulation, the water in the pellets 5 flows out through holes 17 in the inner tube 14 into the inside thereof, thus only the pellets 5 can be recovered effectively and reliably without clogging.
