An output of the skew detecting circuit 32 is applied to the 1st input terminal 331 of the 2nd switch 33. Head switching pulses CHP are applied to the 2nd input terminal 332 of the 2nd switch 33 and a head switch 21. In case of normal reproducing of an NTSC system tape, the 2nd switch is turned to the 2nd input terminal 332 and controls the switching of the 1st switch 31 synchronously with the head switching pulse. In case of specific reproducing, the 2nd switch 33 is turned to the 1st input terminal 331 and controls the switching of the 1st switch 31 by an output of the skew detecting circuit 32.
