Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity and the durability, by using a specific pyrazoline compound as an electric charge carrying substance to a photoreceptor having an electric charge generating layer and a charge carrying layer. CONSTITUTION:A purazoline compound expressed by a general formula[I. [where, X1 and X2 are heterocyclic groups which may be substituted (e.g. 2-pyridyl, 3-pyridyl, 2-quinolyl, 4-quinolyl, 3-carbazolyl, 2-furyl, 4-oxazolyl, 4- thiazolyl, isooxazolyl etc.) R1 ia an aryl group which may be substituted or a heterocycric group. R2 and R3 are hydrogen atoms, an alkyl group may be substituted or an aryl group. An n is 0 or 1.]and a bonding agent are dissolved in a solvent and the solution is applied to form an electric charge carrying layer. an electric charge generating layer is laminated on this layer.
