Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the S/N to a multi-pulse, by controlling the separation of left and right channel signals and the level of a reproducing signal according to a noise component in a detection signal. CONSTITUTION:A detection output of an FM detector 5 is applied to a pulsive noise rejector 11. An output of a high pass filter HPF 11d of the noise rejector 11 is branched and applied to another pulse cancellor 100. A multi-path noise E in which the pulsive noise is rejected, is amplified at a noise amplifier 23 and detected from a level detector 24. This output is integrated at a low pass filter LPF 25 and applied to a level set circuit 26 to generate a control signal for controllers 14, 16 and 10.
