Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent any change in the resistance of a transparent conductive film by coating the inner wall of a glass tube with the transparent conductive film and given two phosphor layers, and charging the tube with mercury and a mixture gas containing at least krypton. CONSTITUTION:A glass tube 1 is charged with mercury and a mixture gas consisting of krypton and neon. the inner wall of the tube 1 is coated with a transparent conductive film 2, and a film 3 made of aluminum trioxide, in that order. The film 3 is coated with a first phosphor 4 which is made of calcium halophosphate phosphor activated with antimony and manganese. The first phosphor 4 is coated with a second phosphor 5 which is made of magnesium barium aluminate phosphor activated with europium, magnesium cerium aluminate phosphor activated with terbium, and yttrium oxide phosphor activated with europium.
