Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive saving of a metal sheet and simplification of manufacture, by so constituting that a pipe is placed between a plastic sheet and a thin metal sheet, which is welded thermally by pressure so that both the sheets and the pipes are adhered closely to each other, in a titled heat exchanger of a pipe-on- sheet type heat exchanger for a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A coolant pipe 8, a defroster heater 9 are placed between a lengthy thin aluminum sheet 10 of about 0.1-0.2mm. thick and a ABS resin sheet 11, which is set between the upper and lower patterns which are heated up to softening point of plastics of about 90-100 deg.C. Then, the softened plastic sheet 11 is welded to a metal sheet 10 side by pressure of compressed air supplied through a hole 14a. With this, the plastic sheet 11 molded in shapes of the pipes 8 and 9 is adhered closely to the pipes 8 and 9 is adhered closely to the metal sheet 10 in a body. Then, saving and manufacture of the metal sheet can be facilitated.
