Abstract

PURPOSE: To uniformalize the temperature distribution of air blown off even in a minute flow-rate control region, by improving a circulation course of a thermal medium flowing in the tubes of a core potion, in this heat exchanger of a hot water system heating apparatus for an automobile.
CONSTITUTION: A core portion 3 is formed by each flat tube 1a and 1b at the inlet side and the outlet side and fins 2 joined to these tubes, and tanks 4, 5 are each mounted to the upper and lower portions of the core portion. Liquid reservoir portions are partitioned by means of core plates 6, 7 installed in airtight shapes by means of a metallic plate 10 through seal materials 11 in each tank 4, 5 and the tank 4 is divided into space 13 at the inlet side and space 14 at the outlet side by means of a dash-board 12. One communication hole 12a communicated with an inlet pipe 8 and a large number of communication holes 12b communicated with tubes 1b at the outlet side are mounted to the dash-board 12, and the communication holes 12b are connected in liquid-tight shapes by means of the tubes 1b and a cylindrical seal material 15.
