PURPOSE:To improve heat transfer characteristic by inserting a porous member in a heating pipe to come in contact with its inside wall surface. CONSTITUTION:A porous layer 5 is formed to a porous member 2 on both surfaces of a slab-shaped heating member 2a, which is pressed into a heating pipe 1. The heating pipe superior in heating characteristic is obtainable quite simply through the above constitution. The heating pipe thus obtained applies to a heat exchanger for refrigerator, air conditioner, etc.
