Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a sensible heat exchanger, to simplify structure by decreasing the number of parts, to improve the dehumidifying performance of an absorbent particularly and to lower the temperature of concentration by forming a heat exchange type dehumidifier by unifying a dehumidifier and the sensible heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:Moisture in air is absorbed by the absorbent in the dehumidifier 1 while treating air, temperature thereof is elevated when dehumidifying in the dehumidifier 1, is cooled in the sensible heat exchanger 2. In a humidifier 3, the moisture of the treating air forwarded through the exchanger 2 is evaporated, and the air is cooled at a temperature lower than the temperature of the treating air entering the dehumidifier 1 while the treating air is driven by means of a treating air blower 4. Regenerated air heat-exchanged and heated by means of the exchanger 2 is heated in a heating apparatus 5 while the regenerated air heated by means of the apparatus 5 is received and the absorbent solution diluted by means of the dehumidifier 1 is concentrated and returned to the dehumidifier 1 as a concentrated liquid of the absorbent in the absorbent regenerator 6, and the regenerated air is discharged through a regnerating blower 7a. The heat exchange dehumidifier 10 is formed by unifying the dehumidifier 1 and the exchanger 2.
