Abstract

PURPOSE:To obviate an adverse effect on running conditions stemming from improper adjustment and aged deterioration in a sensor, by correcting the detected value of the sensor after engine starting with use of its initial value prior to starting after power has been supplied, upon making power into the main power unit in advance of engine starting. CONSTITUTION:A temperature signal from thermistors 8 and 9 detecting an electric signal, water temperature and ambient temperature in engine turning conditions obtainable through pickups 4 and 5 and a throttle opening signal by a throttle sensor 7 are inputted into a control section 10 having an MPU, controlling an ignition coil 11. In a suchlike operation control system, power is made into the MPU in advance of engine starting and the detected value of the sensor 7 received after starting is corrected with use of its initial value received prior to engine starting upon making power into the MPU and with this corrected value, engine operation conditions are controlled, keeping the running conditions unsubjected from such as adverse effect attributable to improper adjustment and aged deterioration of the sensor in mind.
