Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the stability of an engine just after the starting at a cold time and obtain the optimum control of after-glow constantly by controlling the continuation time of after-glow to correspond to the temperature and the rotational speed of the engine. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a computation circuit 103 into which a signal S2 to correspond to a unit pulse IS3, that is, the rotational speed of an engine and a signal S3 to correspond to a temperature signal IS6 are inputted for outputting a voltage signal S4 to correspond to the optimum after-glow time and a timer control circuit 104 which outputs a reset signal of a timer 105 at the input time of a starter signal IS11 and a set signal when the rotational speed exceeds a fixed value on the basis of the signal S2. The timer 105 outputs a signal S5 to correspond to the time elapsed from the input time of the set signal. This signal S5 is compared with the signal S4 in a comparator 106. When S4<S5, a high level signal S6 is outputted to stop a glow control signal OS6 outputted from a glow relay control circuit 107.
