Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively utilize reclamation site by forming a sluice bank by dumping wastes into a netting fence built up under water when wastes are dumped in a water area.
CONSTITUTION: Two ropes 2 are laid at a certain interval in a water area to be dumped and its both ends are connected to a bank or levee, etc. And, an approx. 10W100mm meshes of a 5W50m long net 3, e.g., of metal netting, fishing netting, etc., is attached to the ropes 2. In this case, a weight 6 is attached to the lower end of the net 3 and also a float 5 is attached to the upper part of the net 3 in such a way that the net 3 is projected 0.1W2m from the water surface and also sunk 0.5W5m below the water surface. Also, a reinforcing and coupling rope 7 is fixed to the middle of the net 3. Then, wastes 11 containing suspended matters 10 are dumped into the area surrouned by the net 3, where the spreading of the suspended matters 10 is interrupted by the net 3 and a sluice 9 reaching the water bottom 8 is formed by the wastes 11. The wastes are dumped into the middle part of the sluice bank thus formed. Thus, the sluice bank can be constructed by wastes and the efficiency of exclamation can be thus raised.
