Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically supply rolled paper to a copying machine, etc., after cuttint it to prescribed size which corresponds to original size, by providing a memory stored with plural cutting size data. CONSTITUTION:When the front end of an original 5 is detected by a microswitch 8, the detection signal S1 is supplied to a microcomputer 16. Then, the microcomputer 16 starts the conveyance of rolled paper 9 and also starts counting synchronizing pulses from a pulse generator 15 which generates the pulses synchronously with the conveyance speed of the rolled paper. Then, the rear end of the original 5 is detected by a microswitch 7 and its detection signal S2 is supplied to the microcomputer 16. Then, the counted value of the synchronizing pulses is compared with stored cutting size data by the microcomputer 16 sucessively in increasing order, and when a coincidence is obtained, a rotary cutter 14 cuts the rolled paper 9. Thus, the rolled paper is cut to prescribed size which corresponds to original size, achieving automatic paper feeding.
