Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized controlled flow amount in a small flow amount zone by a method wherein labyrinth grooves are formed on a conical valve body fitted in or withdrawn from a conical valve seat to increase not only a fluid resistance but also an operating clearance between the valve seat and the valve body. CONSTITUTION:A valve head 8 is formed by a plurality of valve plates 8a-8c and circumferential grooves 17 between the valve plates, therefore, a labyrinth effect is generated when the fluid is passing through a clearance 22 between the valve head 8 and the valve seat 9 and thereby increasing the fluid resistance while decreasing a discharge coefficient. A conical inner surface having substantially same apex angle theta2 as that of the valve head 8 is bored on the inner wall surface of the valve seat 9, therefore, the clearance 22 between the valve head 8 and the valve seat 9 may be increased and a contact between the valve head and the valve seat may be prevented when the small flow amount is to be obtained.
