Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the titled material excellent in thermal response, clearness of tone, long-term preservability and the like, by a method wherein layers each comprising specified diazo compounds are provided on a base, and a coupler layer composed of phloroglucinol is provided between the two layers. CONSTITUTION:A layer comprising a diazo compound of formulaI(e.g., a compound of formula II) and one comprising a diazo compound of formula III (wherein each of R1, R2, R3, R5, R6, R7 is H, a lower alkyl, halogen or the like; R4 is H, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy; X is S, O; each of Y1, Y2 is an acid residue which may form a double salt with a metal salt) (e.g., a compound of formula IV) are provided. Further, a coupler layer composed of phloroglucinol is provided between the two layers to obtain the objective recording material.
