Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily impart a recording image excellent in fastness to a transfer material, by using a specific dye in a dye support layer. CONSTITUTION:A dye represented by formula (I) (wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a substituent which may have a substituent such as an alkyl group, an aryl group, a cycloalkyl group, an arylalkyl group, an alkoxy group, an acylamino group or an aminocarbonyl group, n is 1 or 2, R2 and R3 are an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group and may together form a ring and X is a substituted or non-substituted phenyl group, a naphthyl group, a furan group or a cumarone group) is contained in the dye support layer formed on one surface of a base sheet. When this dye is used as the dye for a transfer sheet, a high heat transfer speed is shown and an image excellent in fastness, especially, excellent in storage stability and light fastness is obtained. Especially, when the molwt. of the dye becomes 350 or more, pref., 380 or more, effect becomes still more marked.
