Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a recorder capable of a high speed recording without heightening the recording voltage by providing a magnetic so as to apply a force on a toner particle in the same direction as a Coulomb force working thereon by the recording electrode. CONSTITUTION:A toner particle 7 is supplied to a section where a conductive sleeve 1 made of a non-ferromagnetic material acting as an opposed electrode as well faces a recording electrode 8. A magnet 10 is provided to apply a force in the same direction as Coulomb force (a force directed to a recording body 11) working on the toner 7 by a recording voltage applied between both the electrodes. Particles at the tip of a toner chain 12 flies upward separating from the toner chain 12 and attaches to the recording body 11.
