CONSTITUTION:Plural metallic plates 2 are superposed to make clad plates, and projecting line parts 7 are provided on the end faces of at least one sheet of the metallic plates to be welded located at the center. While the parts 7 are melted by generating the arc between the peak parts of the parts 7 and an electrode 4, the arc is moved, whereby these are welded. Therefore, the generation and concentrating characteristics of the arc are excellent and the weld zones 5 of good penetration are obtained.
