CONSTITUTION: Purified Cellulase on the market is added to water containing no metal ion or pure water to give an enzyme solution, to which a medium wherein myceliuma of Basidiomycetes such as myceliuma of Cortinellus shiitake are cultivated is added, the enzyme reaction is carried out at 35W40°C, the reaction solution is heated at 70°C, so that the enzyme is deactivated and the first sterilization is done. The solution is treated with a filter cloth to give slightly milk white light brown liquid wherein fine suspended matters are left, and, if necessary, it is allowed to stand, the precipitate is separated, and the suspension of the filtrate is sterilized under heating at about 90°C.
