Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the flow rate and temp. of a heat exchanger controllable by providing a magneto-electric transducer which detects the rotations of an impeller rotating in proportion to flow rates and a temp. detecting element which detects the temp. of fluid to a body forming a flow passage. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 6 and a flow rectifying plate 5 having flow rectifying holes 7 are grasped by a connecting pipe 3 in a body 1 formed of plastics, and further, an impeller 10 having a plastic magnet 12 is inserted to the bearing 6. A magneto-electric transducer 13 for detecting the rotations of the impeller 10 and a temp. detecting element 16 for detecting the temp. of fluid flowing in a flow passage 8 are buried in the body 1. Since the sensor is constituted in this way, the quantity of rotations of the impeller 10 proportional to flow rates is detected by the transducer 13, and the temp. of the fluid is detected by the element 16; therefore, the temp. and flow rate of the water of a heat exchanger or the like are detected simultaneously.
