Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the deterioration of a remote monitoring system although a signal line has a fault, by setting a peculiar clock at each station to be monitored to control the transmission of information of the station to be monitored and at the same time transmitting a clock correcting signal with a proper period to correct the error of the clocks. CONSTITUTION:A monitor station 1 transmits a clock correcting signal with a period of time (mnt) by a clock 9 with the control of a transmission switch 12. The stations 2, 3 and 4 to be monitored detect the clock correcting signals through a clock correction detector 11 then corrects the clock 9 to transmit the information with time intervals (0), (t) and (2t) which are indicated by the clock 9. In other words, the information of the stations 2, 3 and 4 are transmitted at the times t0, (t0+nXt)-(t0+(m-1)nt), the times (t0+t), (t0+(n+1)t)-(t0 {(m-1)n+1}t), and the times (t0+2t), (t0+(n+2)t)-(t0+{(m-1)n+2}t) respectively. The clock correcting signal is detected again at the time t0+mnt to repeat the above-mentioned operation.
