Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled receptor with high sensitivity to a semiconductor laser by forming a photosensitive layer consisting of a charge generating layer contg. a trisazo pigment and a charge transferring layer contg. a specified pyrazoline compound on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 44 is formed on an electrically conductive support 11 by laminating a charge generating layer 22 having 0.01-5mum thickness and contg. 10-100wt% trisazo pigment represented by formulaI, and a charge transferring layer 33 having 2-100mum thickness and consisting of 10- 80wt% pyrazoline compound represented by formula II (where each of R1- R3 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, dialkylamino or halogen; and (n) is 0 or 1) and a binder resin such as polyester resin or contg. further additives such as halogenated paraffin. The resulting receptor with high sensitivity shows flat sensitivity over the whole visible range and the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser, has superior durability, and gives a clear image.
