Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled receptor with improved sensitivity and repetitive endurance by forming a photosensitive layer consisting of a charge generating layer contg. a specified trisazo pigment and a charge transferring layer on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer is formed on an electrically conductive support by laminating a charge generating layer haing 0.01-5mum thickness and contg. a trisazo pigment having <=5mum grain size represented by formulaI(where each of Ph1-Ph5 is optionally substituted arylene; each of X1 and X2 is an optionally substituted bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group, -0-, formula II or III, -NH-, -NHCO-, -S-, -S-S-, -SO- or -SO2-; R is an optionally substituted bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group; a is 0 or 1; and Cp is a coupler residue) and <=80% binder such as casein, and a charge transferring layer having 2-100mum thickness and consisting of 100pts.wt. binder such as polyethylene and 10-500pts.wt. charge transferring substance such as hydrazone compound represented by formula IV.
