CONSTITUTION:A provisional average reference weight m0 is calculated from weighing a known small number n0 of objects and their weighed weight and the known number n0, and calculation is made to obtain a maximum effective number n1 within which weight measurement will have no error even if a measured value is rounded to the nearest whole number for fractions equal to or over 0.5 and cut away for fractions under 0.5 by the calculated provisional reference number and the accuracy of a balance, and the number n1 is displayed. Next, objects in the maximum effective number n1 are weighed and the average reference weight m1 is calculated.
